QUEZON City, Philippines – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is going to conduct an assessment of 5, 150 registered contractors and sub-contractors as part of the strategy to stop illegal contracting, sub-contracting and short-term employment arrangements.
According to Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre Bello III, the chosen contractors and sub-contractors employ 416, 000 employees.
