QUEZON City Philippines – The Department of Justice (DOJ) transferred high-profile inmates from the New Bilibid Prison to the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) detention cell in Quezon City.
According to Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre, this move by the DOJ is to protect the witnesses at the NBP who are set to testify against Senator Leila de Lima.
He said that 10 inmates will be presented in Congress to make their testimony regarding the illegal drugs trade and the alleged involvement here of Senator De Lima.
