(Eagle News) — No Filipino was hurt in the 6.4-magnitude earthquake that struck Albania on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
The Department of Foreign Affairs said this was according to the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Tirana that has jurisdiction over the area.
The DFA said the Philippine Embassy in Rome, which has jurisdiction over Albania, is in constant communication with the consulate.
The department said Filipino community leaders in Albania were also gathering the latest developments on the incident.
At least 30 people have been reported killed in what is now considered as Albania’s worst earthquake in decades.
