Death toll due to “Tisoy” pegged at 13 so far

(Eagle News) — At least 13 people were killed as “Tisoy” pummeled the country with its strong winds and rains in recent days.

A report from the Police Regional Office 5 said of the 13, one came  from Libmanan, Camarines Sur; another from Bulan, Sorsogon; another from Sorsogon City; another from Goa, Camarines Sur; and another in Pili town.

The other fatalities, based on reports from the police and the Office of the Civil Defense, came from Ormoc (1),  Calabarzon region (2), Catanauan (1) and Polillo (1).

At present, all cyclone signals have been lifted as “Tisoy” further weakened.

“Tisoy” is forecast to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility between tonight and tomorrow morning.
