MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News Service, August 28) – As the morning sun rose on Padre Faura, members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo continued with their program for the day as the protest in front of the Department of Justice entered its second day.
INC members waved their signs and placards asking for the DOJ to stop meddling with the internal affairs of the Church and to respect the constitutional provision regarding the separation of the church and the state.
The activity remains generally peaceful as members of the SCAN International assured the security and safety of the Iglesia Ni Cristo members.
