Davao businesswoman says Trillanes’ camp tried to bribe her to testify vs President Duterte

(Eagle News) — A Davao businesswoman has accused the camp of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV of trying to bribe her to testify against President Rodrigo Duterte, and file a case against him in the International Criminal Court, a television report said.

According to the GMA7 report, according Guillermina Barrido Arcillas identified one “Junnel” as the one who offered her P500,000 as initial downpayment for her testimony.

“Junnel” is reportedly a member of Trillanes’ staff.

Another P500,000, she said, would be given to her as soon as a case in the international court was filed.

She said the lawyer of self-confessed hitman Edgar Matobato would also play a role in the plan.

“Ang sabi niya sa akin, na ano ‘wag kang mag-alala, dahil ‘yun nga daw hindi ako papabayaan nakita mo na, marami akong pera… dito,” Arcillas was quoted as saying in the report.
