DA: Mekeni Food’s skinless longganisa, hotdog tested positive for African Swine Flu

(Eagle News) — Some products of Mekeni Food Corp. have tested positive for African Swine Flue.

This was confirmed by the  Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Animal Industry on Monday, Nov. 4.

According to the BAI, those that tested positive were the Pampanga-based company’s skinless longganisa and Picnic hotdog.

In October, Mekeni recalled its pork-based products.
