UPDATE as of 8:04 PM, Manila Philippines, August 27, (Eagle News) – As the Iglesia Ni Cristo crowd continues to increase in number in front of the Department of Justice national office (DOJ) in Padre Faura Street, Manila, a slight increase in tension was felt when the vehicle carrying Secretary Leila De lima attempted to exit the compound.
Nonetheless, according to police deployed in the area, the situation is generally peaceful, except for the aforementioned slight tension.
Sec. De Lima exited the DOJ compound thru another route.
