Compubox record: Punch stats show Pacquiao landed more punches than Horn (182 – 92)

(Eagle News) — Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao landed more punches, including power punches and jabs, than the declared winner by unanimous decision Australia’s Jeff Horn in the World Boxing Organization’s welterweight match on Sunday, July 2, in Brisbane, Australia.

According to the punch statistics recorded by Compubox, Pacquiao landed a total of 182 punches compared to Horn’s 92.

The Filipino boxer also landed more power punches at 123 compared to Horn’s 73.

He had 31 percent jabs compared to the Australian’s 10 percent; 59 of them landed compared to Horn’s 19.

Overall, punch statistics showed Pacquiao dominated Horn.

As the Compubox record showed, although Horn threw more punches, 625, compared to Pacquiao’s 573, the Australian only landed 92 of them.

Pacquiao landed 182, or almost double the figure made by Horn.
