(Eagle News)–Commission on Elections commissioner Rowena Guanzon believes the suppliers of the SD cards used in the 2019 elections should not be paid in full.
Guanzon made the remark in an ambush interview on Wednesday, May 15.
“Papasuri ko ‘yan, ‘yung proseso sa bidding at pag-deliver nila ng cards kasi ‘yan po talaga ang naging problem,” she said.
She noted, however, that the Comelec en banc has yet to rule on the matter.
The Comelec has ruled the May 13 elections a success despite the glitches.
