Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers expected in parts of PHL

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers are expected in parts of the country late Wednesday as the southwest monsoon affects the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon.

In its recent bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said  Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Zambales, and Bataan will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains are possible, the weather bureau said.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, is forecast to have
partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.

Luzon is expected to have moderate to strong winds and coastal waters, while the rest of the country, PAGASA said, will have  moderate winds and coastal waters.
