Cloudy skies with rains expected in parts of PHL today

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with rains are expected in parts of the country today.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon, which is affecting Luzon.

PAGASA said windy conditions in coastal and mountainous areas are expected.

Eastern Visayas and Caraga will have cloudy skies with rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms due to the easterlies affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.

PAGASA said flash floods or rain-induced landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Palawan, and the rest of Visayas and of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains
