Cloudy skies to prevail over Batanes, Babuyan Islands as frontal system affects extreme N. Luzon

(Eagle News)—Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms today, May 21, as a frontal system affects Extreme Northern Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are also possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, this time, due to localized thunderstorms.

Extreme Northern Luzon will have moderate to occasionally strong winds and moderate to occasionally rough waters, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
