Cloudy skies to prevail in parts of PHL as southwest monsoon affects western section of Luzon

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies  are expected in parts of the country as the southwest monsoon affects the western section of Luzon.

Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Zambales and Bataan will have isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms  as well, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

The rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon and the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to  moderate coastal waters.
