Cloudy skies to prevail in many parts of PHL today

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies will prevail in many parts of the country on Sunday, March 24, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

In its advisory, PAGASA said Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands will experience cloudy skies with light rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by  localized thunderstorms, PAGASA said.

According to the weather bureau,  Northern Luzon will experience strong winds and rough coastal waters.

The rest of northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

The eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon and of Visayas will have moderate to occasionally strong winds and moderate to occasionally rough waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters.
