Cloudy skies to prevail in Batanes, other areas

(Eagle News)–Batanes and several areas will have cloudy skies today, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

PAGASA said apart from Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Apayao and Cagayan will have  partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeasterly surface windflow.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.

Extreme Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters, while Visayas and the rest of Luzon and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.

PAGASA is still monitoring typhoon “Bualoi” outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

It was last spotted 2595 kilometers east northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon, packing maximum sustained winds of up to 150 kph and gustiness of 185 kph.

It is moving northeast at 30 kph.
