Cloudy skies, scattered rainshowers expected in parts of PHL as trough of “Hagibis” affects E. Mindanao

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers are expected in parts of the country as the trough of Typhoon “Hagibis” affects the eastern section of Mindanao.

CARAGA, Davao region, and Northern Mindanao are experiencing the conditions, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

The northeasterly surface windflow, it said, is prevailing over Luzon, with strong winds and coastal waters expected in the northern and eastern parts.

Visayas and the rest of Luzon and Mindanao, PAGASA said, will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
