(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers are expected in parts of the country today.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos Norte will have these conditions due to a low pressure area located 50 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City , Cagayan or at 215 km north northeast of Baler, Aurora.
Flash floods or landslides due to occasional heavy rains are possible.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
The northern section of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters, while Visayas, Mindanao and the rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
