Cloudy skies, rainshowers expected in parts of PHL today, Sept. 12

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers are expected in parts of the country today, Sept. 12.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said CALABARZON, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Aurora, Quirino, Isabela, and Cagayan will experience these conditions as the trough of a tropical depression affects Southern Luzon and Visayas.

Flash floods or landslides due to scattered to widespread moderate to heavy rains are possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, this time due to localized thunderstorms.

The eastern sections of Mindanao and of Southern Luzon, and parts of Visayas will have strong winds and rough coastal waters

The rest of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, on the other hand, will have
moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
