Cloudy skies, rainshowers expected in parts of PHL today

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected in parts of the country today.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said these conditions will prevail in MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, and Zamboanga Peninsula due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone.

PAGASA said Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and the province of Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains as the northeast monsoon affects Northern and Central Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Isolated flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.
