Cloudy skies, rainshowers expected in parts of PHL today

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies and rainshowers are expected today, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

PAGASA said Mindanao, Visayas, Bicol Region and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms as a Low Pressure Area situates itself off Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

The Regions of Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon.

Metro  Manila and the rest of Luzon on the other hand will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.
