Cloudy skies, rains expected today

(Eagle News) — The tail-end of a frontal system is affecting the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the northeast monsoon was also affecting the rest of Northern and Central Luzon.

As a result, PAGASA said Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Rizal, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains are possible.

The Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon, on the other hand, will have cloudy skies with rains.

Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.

According to the weather bureau, Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
