Cloudy skies, rain showers expected in parts of PHL due to southwest monsoon

Eagle News)–The southwest monsoon is affecting the western section of the country.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said, as a result, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro and Northern Palawan including Calamian and Kalayaan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA said the entire country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
