(Eagle News)–Newly appointed Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta has announced the justices who will comprise the House of Representatives and Senate electoral tribunals.
In special order number 2725, to sit as chair of the SET for the adjudication of cases was Justice Estela Perlas-Bernabe.
The tribunal’s regular members are Justices Alfredo Caguioa and Alexander Gesmundo.
To serve as chair of HRET on the other hand is Justice Marvic Leonen.
The members of tribunal are Justices Andres Reyes Jr. and Jose Reyes Jr.
The order said the justices’ designation was “in the interest of the service.”
Peralta replaced Lucas Bersamin, who retired from the post of Chief Justice upon reaching the mandatory age of retirement last week.
