(Eagle News)–Partly cloudy skies are expected in parts of the country on Friday, March 22, as the ridge of a high pressure area affects northern Luzon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said these were expected over the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Mt. (Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Friday, March 22. The quake hit nine kilometers southwest of Manay at 2:57 a.m. Depth of focus of the earthquake was 11 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were  expected.

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Norte on Thursday, March 21. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the quake hit 34 kilometers northeast of Pagudpud at 8:24 a.m. The depth of focus of the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, was 18 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

(Eagle News)—A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, March 21. The quake hit 131 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 5:32 a.m., the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. According to PHIVOLCS, depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 119 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

Comelec declares Mindanao, Abra, some towns in N. Samar, Isabela election hotspots
