(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Friday, March 22. The quake hit nine kilometers southwest of Manay at 2:57 a.m. Depth of focus of the earthquake was 11 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were  expected.

The police said they found the P6.8 million worth of suspected illegal drugs in a black Daewoo car with plate number XKP-622 in Camachilihan, Bustos, following a tip. (Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Norte on Thursday, March 21. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the quake hit 34 kilometers northeast of Pagudpud at 8:24 a.m. The depth of focus of the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, was 18 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.  

4.2-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)—A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, March 21. The quake hit 131 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 5:32 a.m., the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. According to PHIVOLCS, depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 119 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

Comelec declares Mindanao, Abra, some towns in N. Samar, Isabela election hotspots
