3.4-magnitude quake jolts Bohol

(Eagle News)—A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Bohol on Friday, April 5. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit six kilometers northwest of Balilihan at 3:49 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of six kilometers. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 116 kilometers southwest of Sabtang at 5:59 p.m. Depth of focus of the quake, which was tectonic in origin, was 35 kilometers.
