PACC probing two Cabinet secretaries over corruption allegations; results of probe to be submitted to Duterte

(Eagle News)–The Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission is investigating two Cabinet secretaries for alleged corruption. PACC Commissioner Greco Belgica made the revelation on Wednesday, Aug. 14, in a Palace briefing. He, however, refused to identify the Cabinet secretaries, saying the probe was still ongoing. September 8 now a special working holiday

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has declared September 8 of every year a special working holiday. The declaration was made through Republic Act 11370 signed on August 8. According to the law, the declaration was in observance of the Catholics’ Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A working holiday means there will be classes and work on that day.
