Inflation slows to 16-month low in April

According to the PSA, the 3.0 inflation in April is the lowest inflation posted since January 2018. (Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Wednesday, May 8. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, an aftershock of the 5.5-magnitude quake that hit Surigao del Norte on April 26, hit 86 kilometers southeast of General Luna at 5:39 a.m. The quake had a depth of focus of 1 kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
3.0-magnitude quake hits Lanao del Sur
