A longtime public utilities employee sprayed gunfire “indiscriminately” in a government building complex on Friday in the US state of Virginia, police said, killing 11 people and wounding six in the latest mass shooting to rock the country. 3.0-magnitude quake hits Masbate

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Masbate early Saturday, June 1. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 13 kilometers northeast of Aroroy at 4:35 a.m. Depth of focus of the quake was six kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

(Eagle News)–A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Friday, May 31. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 92 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 6:12 p.m. Depth of focus of the quake was 72 kilometers.
