3.5-magnitude earthquake hits N. Samar on Thursday night

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar on Thursday night. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 50 kilometers northwest of Pambujan at 10:15 p.m. Depth of focus is 21 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

USCIS to permanently close Manila office due to “insufficient workload” — US Embassy

(Eagle News)–The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services will close its Manila office on July 5 due to “insufficient workload,” the US embassy in Manila said. Palace declares June 24, 2019 a special non-working holiday in Manila

(Eagle News)–The Palace has declared June 24 a special non-working holiday in Manila. The declaration was contained in Proclamation 731 signed by Executive Secretary Salvador  Medialdea. According to the proclamation, this was to give the   people of the city  the “full opportunity to celebrate and participate” in activities relating to the city’s 448th founding anniversary. Manila was founded in 1571.      

LTFRB to Grab PHL: Explain planned deactivation of around 8,000 TNVS
