3.8-magnitude quake hits Davao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Davao del Sur on Sunday, Nov. 10. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 22 kilometers southwest of Davao City at 1:30 a.m. Depth of focus was 11 kilometers. PAGASA monitors severe tropical storm outside PAR; Tail-end of cold front to bring rains to several areas

(Eagle News) — The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Quoting a text message from his son Lance, Esquire Philippines reported Gokongwei passed away at the Manila Doctors Hospital at the age of 93 on Saturday night, at 11:41 p.m. The publication did not cite a cause of death. DFA: No reports of Filipinos affected in 5.9-magnitude Iran quake
