“Tisoy” makes landfall in Marinduque, heads toward Batangas-northern Oriental Mindoro area

(Eagle News)–“Tisoy” has made landfall in Marinduque and is now heading towards the Batangas-northern Oriental Mindoro area. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said “Tisoy” was so far estimated 55 kilometers east of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, packing maximum sustained winds of up to 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 205 kph. Heavy rainfall warning hoisted over Sorsogon, other areas due to “Tisoy”

(Eagle News)–A heavy rainfall warning has been hoisted over several areas as “Tisoy” slightly intensified and made landfall in Gubat, Sorsogon. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said a red warning  has been hoisted over Northern Samar, Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Albay, Camarines Sur and Masbate including Ticao and Burias Islands. (Eagle News)–Typhoon “Tisoy” has made landfall in Sorsogon and has slightly intensified, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said. According to PAGASA, “Tisoy” was last spotted in the coastal waters of Gubat, packing maximum sustained winds of 175  kph near the center and gustiness of up to 240 kph. It is moving west at 15 kph.
