3.4-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News) — A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Sunday, December 8. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 13 kilometers northeast of Cortes at 8:52 a.m. Depth of focus was 26 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
