(Eagle News) — Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao defeated American boxer Timothy Bradley Jr., via unanimous decision in a fight that saw “Pacman” at his best in 12 rounds.

What was dubbed as Pacquiao’s final fight was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

After the fight, Pacquiao, in an interview, said he would definitely retire.

“Physically, I’m still okay, I can still fight. But I’ve made my decision to go back to the Philippines,” he said.  “I’m going to retire after this.”

Pacquiao is running for senator in the Philippines’ May national and local elections this year.

Bradley for his part said, “I fought my game plan. He (Pacquiao) was faster, he was stronger. And I wanna congratulate Manny for the win.”

Pacquiao knocked down Bradley twice — the first was in Round 7 and the second in Round 9.
