The attempt of the Iglesia Ni Cristo to break the current record for the largest gospel choir on May 22, 2016 during the INC Reconnect Worldwide Intensive Propagation at the Philippine Arena will still have to be submitted to the Guinness main office for its adjudication, according to organizers.
A total of 21,272 gospel choir members has been counted by the Punongbayan auditing firm, one of the major accounting and auditing firms in the country, which had been tasked to tally and verify the number of gospel choir members who would qualify for the Guinness attempt.
The current record is the 12,000 man choir of the Believers LoveWorld Ministry, also known as Christ Embassy on December 2015.
