(Eagle News)–At least one person was hurt after a portion of a budget hotel in Manila collapsed on Monday, Sept. 23.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno went to the site of the Sogo Hotel in Malate which had been undergoing demolition after the collapse past 9 a.m.
Two workers who were on duty reportedly remain unaccounted for.
One worker who sustained minor injuries was rushed to the hospital.
“Basta kami, ang focus muna maisalba yung mga posibleng nangaipit,” Moreno told reporters.
