At least nine killed in Pasay fire

(Eagle News) — At least nine people were killed after a fire engulfed a house in Pasay early Thursday, Feb. 7.

The fatalities in the fire that broke out in the residence in Maricaban at 2:10 a.m. were Julius Wablas, his wife Rheadela, and daughters  Nicole, Juric Andrea and Julia Janet, the Bureau of Protection said.

Also killed were Michael Calma and his sons Mark Joseph, John Clark and Andrew James.

Only Calma’s wife, Jasmin, survived.

The BFP is still determining the cause of the fire, which only reached the first alarm and was put out at least an hour after it broke out.
