(Eagle News)–The Light Rail Transit Authority is still conducting a probe of the two coaches that collided near the Anonas and Cubao stations on Saturday night, and left at least 30 people injured.

LRTA spokesperson Hernando Cabrera said a report on the incident that saw one coach hit the other that was parked on the eastern railway track was expected in two to three days.

The injured were rushed to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center, which  Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade also visited.

A Facebook video showed passengers were still inside one of the coaches when the collision took place.

Passenger Aya Lopez told ABSCBN some of them were hit in metal railings due to the impact.

“Nagtalsikan talaga kami sa may gitna…Nagsigawan kami, nag-brownout sa loob ng mga 5 minutes. Di nila ina-announce kung ano ‘yung nangyari,” she said.

They were then instructed to transfer to another coach.
