At least 2 killed, one hurt in Edsa shooting incident

(Eagle News)–At least two people were killed and another was injured in a shooting incident on Edsa on Sunday, Feb. 17.

Police said Jose Luis Yulo, a businessman from Alabang and Allan Santos were declared dead in the hospital after unidentified gunmen on board motorcycles, who had driven  close to their vehicle as it was plying the southbound lane of the thoroughfare near Reliance St. in Mandaluyong, fired  at the rear window past 3 p.m.

A woman, Esmeralda Ignacio, sustained injuries but survived.

The three had allegedly come from a race track in Pampanga.

Police are still investigating the incident, which  occupied two lanes of the thoroughfare, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority in a Tweet.
