Arrested police colonel tested positive in drug test

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – Police Superintendant Lito Cabamongan tested positive in the initial drug test conducted by the Philippine National Police.

Cabamongan was arrested by Las Piñas police after being caught in flagrante delicto in a pot session while using “shabu.”

According to Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory Director, Police Chief Supt. Aurelio Trampe, Cabamongan tested positive in the initial test.

Trampe also said that the Crime Laboratory’s chemistry division will conduct another examination to confirm.

The results of the lab tests will be used by the PNP in filing of administrative charges against Cabamongan.
