Anti-Marcos rallies, not a security threat, says National Security Adviser

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News)  — The National Security Adviser does not see the anti-Marcos protests as a security threat.

According to National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon Jr., the government sees the anti-Marcos rallies as a form of democratic expression that should not be suppressed.

“You would expect na merong kanya-kayang plano (both sides) as a matter of democratic advocacies,” Esperon said.
