Another LPA spotted, this time near Cagayan

(Eagle News)—Another low pressure area was spotted near the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

PAGASA said the LPA was estimated 335 kilometers east of Aparri.

It said this was apart from the LPA spotted 195 kilometers southwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur as of 3 a.m.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have cloudy skies  with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the trough of LPA.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, PAGASA said.

Extreme Northern Luzon will have moderate winds and moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
