Another complaint filed vs Garin, others over alleged Dengvaxia-related death

(Eagle News) — A tenth complaint has been filed in connection with the Dengvaxia brouhaha.

Fredeswinda Jajalla-Nimura filed the charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and for violation of the Anti-Torture Act against former Health Secretary Janette Garin, Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, and several others before the Department of Justice,  following the death of her daughter Naomi.

According to Nimura, this came seven days after her daughter received a dose of Dengvaxia on Nov. 3, 2017.

Sanofi Pasteur, the drug manufacturer, has said severe cases could result if the vaccine was administered to people who did not have dengue beforehand.
