(Eagle News)–Philippine National Police Chief Oscar Albayalde has ordered the creation of a special investigation task force to probe the killing of Rep. Rodel Batocabe and his bodyguard.
In a statement, Albayalde said the task group was also in order to “mobilize all available resources” for the investigation.
“We appeal to the public to immediately report to the police any information that could lead us to the perpetrators and to help us quickly solve the case,” Albayalde said, as he expressed sympathies to the bereaved families of the victims.
