No new COVID-19 cases, recoveries, deaths reported among overseas Filipinos

(Eagle News)–There were no new COVID-19 recoveries, cases or deaths reported among overseas Filipinos.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said  total COVID-19 recoveries were therefore retained at 7279.

Total COVID-19 cases remain at 11244, while the death toll remains at 817.

The DFA said the Middle East and Africa remain the regions with the most COVID-19 cases, recoveries and deaths, at 7380, 4542, and 532.

The Americas had the least cases but the least recoveries, too, at 816 and 481, respectively.

The Asia Pacific region had the least COVID-19 deaths, with nine.

“The DFA remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic, and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare,” the DFA said.

The DFA has repatriated over 200,000 Filipinos amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
