(Eagle News)–A heavy rainfall warning has been hoisted over parts of Mindanao.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said an orange warning level is over Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Sur and Agusan del Norte.
PAGASA said flooding is threatening in low-lying areas and landslides are expected in mountainous areas.
A yellow warning level, on the other hand, is over Dinagat Islands.
“The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions..,” PAGASA said.
