Cloudy skies, rains expected in parts of PHL today

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies and rains are expected in parts of the country today, Feb. 6.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the trough of the low pressure area spotted 705 kilometers east of Davao City.

PAGASA said  Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon affecting Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The rest of  Mindanao will have partly cloudy skies to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, this time due to localized  thunderstorms.
