(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte visited the wakes of John Gokongwei Jr. and Lucio Tan Jr. on Monday night and early Tuesday.

Senator Bong Go, Duterte’s former longtime aide, said the President first visited the wake of Gokongwei at 11 p.m.

The President proceeded to the wake of Tan Jr., son and namesake of business tycoon Lucio Tan, at 12:30 a.m.

Both wakes were held at The Heritage Park in Taguig.

President Duterte also visited the wake of the son and namesake of business tycoon Lucio Tan, Lucio Tan Jr., early Tuesday./Office of Senator Bong Go/

Duterte was accompanied by Go.

Gokongwei died on Sunday, Nov. 9, while Tan passed away due to brain herniation on Monday, Nov. 10.
