(Eagle News)–There is no tsunami threat to the Philippines, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
PHIVOLCS issued the advisory after a 6.6-magnitude quake hit Tulunan, Cotabato at 9:04 a.m.
The quake took place days after a 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck the province.
That earthquake left at least five people dead and several injured.
According to PHIVOLCS, Tuesday’s earthquake was the same as the 6.3-magnitude one.
“Ang epicenter nito ay sa lupa,” PHIVOLCS said.
