(Eagle News) — A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Monday, Oct. 28.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 8 kilometers northeast of Anao-aon, San Francisco at 6:33 a.m.
Depth of focus was 12 kilometers.
An intensity II was felt in Surigao City.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
